Great start to the New Year!

Once again, Caisse Desjardins de Chomedey and Club Lions de Laval have offered their financial assistance to our organization.

Seeing the many needs and families Agape has helped throughout the year and during Christmas, these two organizations have chosen to donate the proceeds of their annual fund raising golf tournament to Agape. A cheque for $5000 was given to Agape on Tuesday, January 11th, 2018.

For more information on these wonderful organizations, please visit their facebook page and/or home page by clicking on the links below.

James Carter - Recognized

On October 26th James (Jim) Carter will be one of the  recipients of the QCGN’s Sheila and Victor Goldbloom Distinguished Community Service Award.

Taken from QCGN website at

"James Carter has been a tireless and exceptionally effective advocate for improved access to health and social services in English. He remains a community pillar, thanks to the determination, vision and negotiating skills he honed over the years. His patience has also proven a hallmark; as a result, his long-term mentoring has exerted quiet, positive influence through English-speaking communities right across Quebec. He strategically harnesses the talent and dedication of individuals within diverse community organizations. With steady guidance, he quietly empowers many to successfully tackle and succeed at leadership roles."
