Desjardins Caisse de Chomedey Donates

Thank you to Desjardins Caisse de Chomedey and General Director, Mrs. Nathalie Charron (center) and Administrative Assistant, Mrs. Marieve Remillard (left) for the fundraiser they organized for both Agape and The Centre S.C.A.M.A.

Their generosity is much appreciated. Please follow the link below to see a video of the event and don't forget to "Like" their Facebook page.

We are currently experiencing a surge in requests for help from refugees who have asked for asylum from the U.S border. Your generous help will be needed including:

clothing: winter jackets, boots, mitts/gloves, winter hats, sweaters, children's snow suites.

Thank you for your generous support!

James Carter - Recognized

On October 26th James (Jim) Carter will be one of the  recipients of the QCGN’s Sheila and Victor Goldbloom Distinguished Community Service Award.

Taken from QCGN website at

"James Carter has been a tireless and exceptionally effective advocate for improved access to health and social services in English. He remains a community pillar, thanks to the determination, vision and negotiating skills he honed over the years. His patience has also proven a hallmark; as a result, his long-term mentoring has exerted quiet, positive influence through English-speaking communities right across Quebec. He strategically harnesses the talent and dedication of individuals within diverse community organizations. With steady guidance, he quietly empowers many to successfully tackle and succeed at leadership roles."

Many project that Agape offer today are thanks to him.

Please see his CTV interview below.
